Posture Management Certification Course
The body doesn’t need to be corrected. It needs to be understood.
Most persistent complaints — a neck that never quite lets go, a lower back that tires by mid-afternoon, movement that stalls no matter how much training is added — are not problems of a single part. They are the result of how a body has learned to use itself, day after day. Posture management starts there: with the everyday habits of sitting, standing and moving, and with the relationship between the pelvis and the spine that those habits shape.
The Posture Management Certification Course teaches that way of seeing as a method, then equips you to apply it. Understanding comes first, and change follows from understanding — not the adjustment of one part, but a grasp of the whole structure. Each SISSEL® tool is an entry point into the same method: from postural assessment, to controlled equipment instruction, to carrying the practice into clients’ daily lives. The method itself has been built over years of teaching and hands-on practice, and is developed continuously through the certification system of HLA — Healience Lab Academy (Korea). In China it is operated by Sissel Asia Ltd. and taught by HLA educators.
Upcoming workshops in China
Dates for the first certification courses in China will be announced soon
Courses are led by HLA Sr. Educators and Educators travelling from Taiwan, Korea and China. Class sizes are limited so that every participant receives hands-on correction.
The methods and tools presented in these courses are intended for general health promotion and professional movement education. Application must be adjusted to the individual. Where disease, pain or injury is present, assessment by a qualified medical practitioner is required.
How the system is built
Learn to do. Teach to do. Teach others to teach.
Movement professionals and rehabilitation therapists rarely share a classroom. HLA certification is built to bridge the two — so you not only know how to do a movement, you understand the mechanism behind it and can teach it to someone else with confidence.
- Learn to doNinety-minute practical sessions on each tool: learn the movement, and the principle behind it, before you teach it.
- Teach to do — Instructor certificationSix to twelve hours per course. Functional anatomy, the musculoskeletal system, myofascial theory, motor control and movement assessment, applied through one SISSEL® tool. Certified Instructors may deliver classes and supply products.
- Teach others to teach — Educator & AESAfter three Instructor certifications, the online HLA Advanced Programme opens the path to Educator: authorised to teach the certification courses themselves. Beyond that, the Advanced Exercise Specialist (AES) certification is awarded after musculoskeletal core training led by Korean HLA faculty.
Instructor certification · Entry to Level 2
Five certifications, one standing
The five courses sit at the same level. Each takes one SISSEL® tool and one aspect of posture management to working depth. There is no prerequisite between them — begin with whichever is closest to the work you already do. Completing any one certifies you as an HLA Instructor.
Training on the SPINEFITTER is not difficult; instructing another person on it — the right position, the right intention, knowing when to stop — takes practice. Learn to assess a client’s condition and needs, choose the most effective intervention, and make sure they keep using the tool correctly. Contraindications are covered in full. Coordination decides both performance and safety, and coordination depends on how muscles are recruited along the myofascial chain. Learn to make the lower limbs participate while the hands move, and the upper body stabilise while the legs work — force trained along the path, not the link. The support and instability of the SITFIT PLUS are used to support the lumbar spine, mobilise the spinal column, strengthen the pelvic floor and train balance and gait. Four programme themes — core strengthening, diastasis recti recovery, pelvic floor training and gait training — each built from six exercises across different positions. If you already know kinesiology taping, EPIFLOW adds six dimensions: lift, rotation and shift, applied with direction. For physiotherapists it opens a new professional channel; for movement professionals it adds a taping skill that supports the work between sessions. Read compensation from structure and leave the “treat the symptom” habit behind. Build an efficient, repeatable assessment SOP from bony landmarks and force lines to movement intervention — for practitioners with a professional background who work with recurring or complex presentations. What this course emphasises is not whether a single muscle is strong or weak, but how the body, under gravity, chooses the strategy that costs least — and not necessarily the one that works best. Assessment first; then Release, Activate, Integrate, in that order.

Posture management & functional recovery
Taught by movement professionals and physiotherapy specialists together
The combination of movement professionals and physiotherapy experts means you do not only learn to operate a tool to address your own or your clients’ problems. The programme includes functional anatomy, the musculoskeletal system, myofascial theory, motor control and movement assessment. Once certified as an Instructor you may deliver classes — in person and online — and supply products to the people you work with, and you may apply to be certified as an Educator.
The certification process
Where certification takes you
HLA certification is a path, not a single workshop. There are three levels, each with its own certificate.
01 · INSTRUCTOR
Instructor
Complete Entry Level / Level 1 / Level 2 of any one of the five certification courses.
You are certified to deliver classes in that method — in person and online — and to supply SISSEL® products to the people you work with.
02 · EDUCATOR
Educator
Three Instructor certifications, the HLA Advanced Programme, and assessment by a Sr. Educator.
Educators are authorised to teach the certification courses themselves. The post-course briefing for Instructors explains the full path to Educator.
03 · AES
Advanced Exercise Specialist
Complete the musculoskeletal core training led in person by Korean HLA faculty, and pass the AES assessment.
The Advanced Exercise Specialist certification recognises practitioners who can work at the boundary of exercise and rehabilitation, with clinical-level understanding of musculoskeletal conditions.
Certification is held by individuals. Studios and physiotherapy centres with certified educators on staff may be listed as SISSEL® Certified Studios in China. See the partner network →
What it is worth
Why practitioners take it
Two fields, one practice
Movement training and rehabilitation knowledge in the same programme — functional anatomy, the musculoskeletal system, myofascial theory, motor control and movement assessment — so you are not choosing between them.
A repeatable way of working
You leave with an assessment sequence you can run on any client, not a set of exercises to memorise.
Standing in a crowded market
Certification is issued internationally and is verifiable. In a market where anyone can call themselves a movement coach, that distinction is the product.
