SITFIT PLUS® Core & Pelvic Floor Training
The pelvis is the base. Everything above it is negotiating with what it does.
The SITFIT PLUS works by applying pressure and counter-pressure in specific directions, adjusting the position of the pelvis and spine so that core musculature is recruited accurately.
Through the linked system of bone, fascial tissue and neural control, it provides support to the lower spine and pelvis — stabilising the lumbopelvic region, transmitting force, and protecting the spine.
Who should attend
Pilates instructors · Physiotherapists · Women’s health and postnatal practitioners · Movement coaches working with desk-based populations · Practitioners working with older adults

What the tool does
| Lumbar support | Reduces excess loading on the lumbar spine and maintains its physiological curve, protecting the musculature either side. |
|---|---|
| Spinal mobility | Thoracic mobility is the first thing prolonged sitting takes away. The SITFIT PLUS supports the spine posteriorly and laterally, creating joint space and improving myofascial interaction. |
| Pelvic floor | The support and mobility it provides create a position from which the pelvic floor can be activated, strengthened or released. |
| Balance and gait | Its instability trains counter-rotation between thorax and pelvis, plantarflexion and dorsiflexion capacity, and ankle stability. |

FAQ
Is this course suitable for postnatal work?
Yes. Diastasis recti recovery and pelvic floor training are two of the four programme themes.
Is there an exam?
Assessment is practical and takes place during the workshop.
Does the certification expire?
No. Further certifications build on it rather than replace it.
What does the certification allow me to do?
Deliver classes in this method — in person and online — and supply SISSEL® products to the people you work with. It is the first step on the path to Educator.
