EPIFLOW Multi-dimensional Traction Taping
Taping has barely changed since the 1970s. This is what changed.
Kinesiology taping was developed in the 1970s around a single idea: use an elastic band to imitate the therapist’s hand. It became a standard part of modern physiotherapy — and has been applied in much the same way ever since.
Conventional taping is largely about support and restriction. Multi-dimensional traction taping works differently: the three-dimensional structure of the tape, combined with a changed application technique, produces sensory input and movement guidance in several directions at once.
Who should attend
Physiotherapists extending into a professional retail channel · Movement professionals adding a taping skill that supports the work between sessions · Pilates instructors and sports coaches
What you will learn
- The physical properties that determine taping outcome — elasticity, tension, shear and stress — and why the shape of the tape is decisive
- The three-step EPIFLOW multi-dimensional traction application sequence
- Building a complete model of tissue circulation and neural intervention, rather than a set of taping patterns
- Application in daily life, sport, Pilates and teaching settings
- Teaching clients to apply it themselves, as a home-care tool between sessions

FAQ
I already tape. Is this course still relevant?
The course starts from what you know and adds the directional, multi-dimensional technique the tape is designed around — lift, rotation and shift.
Is there an exam?
Assessment is practical and takes place during the workshop.
Does the certification expire?
No. Further certifications build on it rather than replace it.
What does the certification allow me to do?
Deliver classes in this method — in person and online — and supply SISSEL® products to the people you work with. It is the first step on the path to Educator.
