1. Personal information handler

sissel.com.cn is operated by Sissel Asia Ltd. (席朔亚洲有限公司, registered in Taiwan, China; registration no. 54949115), the authorised operator of the SISSEL^® brand and HLA professional education programmes in China, and the handler of the personal information described in this policy.

2. What we collect

• Enquiry and registration forms — name, company or studio, professional role, province, email address, WeChat ID or mobile number, the product or course you are asking about, quantity and message.
• Certified venue applications — in addition: company name, venue name, unified social credit code, person in charge, professional background, certification systems, number of venues, website or official account, number of employees, registered capital and revenue (optional), contact, invoice and delivery addresses, purchasing and accounts contacts, and payment terms.
• Correspondence — the content of emails and WeChat messages you send us.
• Technical data — IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and time of visit, collected through server logs and, where you consent, analytics cookies (section 8).

We do not collect payment details; there is no cart or checkout. Purchases are completed with an authorised partner under that partner’s own terms and privacy policy. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14; enquiries about children’s products (such as SPINEFITTER Junior) should be made by a parent, guardian or professional.

3. Purposes and legal basis

• To respond to your product enquiry and pass it to an authorised partner in China who can quote, supply and deliver.
• To register you for HLA certification courses and workshops, notify you, and issue certificates.
• To assess certified venue applications and, with your separate consent, list the venue in the partner directory.
• To handle reports of unauthorised sellers and other correspondence with you.
• To operate, secure and improve the website.
• To meet legal and regulatory obligations.

Processing is based on your consent (the box you tick when submitting a form) and, for responding to enquiries and registrations, on the necessity of performing a contract. We do not send marketing messages unless you have asked to be notified about courses or products; you can withdraw that request at any time by replying to any message or contacting us.

4. Sharing with third parties

Only to the extent necessary for the purposes above, your personal information may be provided to:

• Authorised SISSEL^® partners in China — when you make a product enquiry, so that a partner can quote and arrange delivery.
• Healience Lab Academy (HLA, Korea) and its educators — when you register for a certification course, for course administration and certificate issuance.
• Service providers that host this website and our email (servers located in Hong Kong, China).
• Regulators or courts where required by law.

We do not sell personal information and do not share it with advertisers. Before providing personal information to a third party we inform you of the recipient’s name, contact details, purpose, method and categories of information, and obtain your separate consent.

5. Cross-border transfer

Sissel Asia Ltd. is located in Taiwan, China; the web servers are in Hong Kong, China; HLA is in Korea. Your personal information will therefore be transferred to, stored and processed outside mainland China. We use contractual and other measures to require overseas recipients to protect your information to a standard no lower than this policy and the PIPL. By submitting a form you acknowledge these transfers and give your separate consent; you may withdraw consent as described in section 7.

6. Retention

• Product enquiries — up to 24 months after the enquiry is closed.
• Course registrations and certification records — for as long as the certification remains valid, plus 7 years.
• Partner directory listings — until you ask to be removed or the partnership ends.
• Server logs — up to 90 days.

Information that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymised.

7. Your rights

Under the PIPL you have the right to know, access and copy the personal information we hold about you; to request correction or completion; to request deletion where the law provides; to withdraw consent, including consent to sharing with partners and to cross-border transfer (without affecting processing already carried out); to restrict or object to processing; and to ask us to explain our processing rules.

8. Cookies and analytics

This site uses cookies that are strictly necessary for it to function, such as keeping a form submission secure; these do not require consent. With your consent we may use a web analytics tool to understand how the site is used; analytics cookies are set only after you accept, and you can clear or block them in your browser at any time. Third-party video embedded on course pages may set its own cookies when played, governed by that platform’s policy.

9. Security

Personal information is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored on servers accessible only to authorised personnel. Forms are protected against automated abuse. If a breach occurs or may occur, we will take remedial measures and notify the authorities and you as required by law.

10. Third-party links

This site links to authorised partners, HLA, SISSEL GmbH and social platforms. Their privacy practices are their own; please read their policies before providing personal information to them.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the current version; significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
